We will have Special Speaker Missionaries David & Delynn Johnson this Sunday, May 16th.  Delynn is Paul & Claudia Williams’ daughter.  Please give them a big welcome this Sunday.
 

The Jr. High & High School Students (Grades 7-12) meet every Wednesday night 6:00-8:00 p.m. and every Sunday night 6:00-8:00 p.m.  If your student is not involved, we hope you will encourage them to come and learn God’s Word and to fellowship with other students. 

Some of the activities planned this year are as follow:

May  28            Youth Lock-In – Drop off at 8:00 p.m. and pick up next day 9:00 a.m.  Cost $3 for pizza & drink
June 18-21       Youth Camp at Global Retreat, Georgia

 We will have our annual Parent/Child Dedication Service on Sunday, May 9^th.  If interested or have any questions, please contact Bro. Ken 465-0222. 

 The Children’s Ministry Annual Dessert Auction will be Sunday, May 16^th.  If you are interested in making a dessert for this event, please contact Dana Crook or Adrian Stackley at 465-0222.  Desserts will be available for bidding before and during the church service.  Hope to have lots of participants and lots of bidding! 

 Vivian England has been so kind every year to donate plants for our Annual Yard Sale.  We need planting pots to transplant the flowers/plants for our yard sale. Should you have any 3, 4, or 6 inch pots we could sure use them to transplant plants.  You may bring the pots to the church office and we will get them to Vivian. Your help is greatly appreciated! 

 As many of you know, Leon Morganelli is an organ recipient.  He wants us to know how important organ and tissue donors are to help others to live.  If you have ever considered being an organ donor and haven’t signed up yet, there is a simple way for you to become an organ donor.  April is National Donate Life Month. You may go to www.midsouthtransplant.org for information or to register www.tndonorregistry.org.  Please consider becoming a donor today and help others to live in the future!  Thank you!

Calling Men to Integrity and Leadership!  The Men’s Ministry will begin a new Bible study on Sunday, March 21st, 6:00-8:00 p.m. called “Men of His Word” by Adrian Rogers, an inspiring study that will change your life.   Eight powerful lessons to help you become the man God wants you to be!

The Women’s ministry has just begun a new study called “The Inheritance” with Beth Moore.  This study has nine sessions and no homework required.  This concept of inheritance isn’t just a subject in Scripture.  It is a theme stretching all the way from Genesis to Revelation.  The word “inheritance” or forms of the word (i.e., inherit, heir, heritage, etc.) can be found in the Word of God no less than 300 times and appears with frequency in both Testaments.  We hope you will join us on Sunday or Tuesday nights, 6:00-8:00 PM, and enjoy the topical study of inheritance through God’s Word.  Psalm 16:5-6 “Lord, you have assigned me my portion and my cup; you have made my lot secure.  The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful inheritance.”  Please Join Us!
